Select one repetitive workflow, measure the current process, map the real route, involve frontline staff and agree on acceptance criteria before the robot arrives.
1. Choose one workflow
Define the item, starting point, destination, frequency, hand-off and the person responsible for exceptions.
2. Record the baseline
Measure trips per day, staff minutes per trip, delays, missed tasks and any quality or safety concerns.
3. Assess the environment
Check corridor widths, slopes, thresholds, lifts, doors, Wi-Fi, charging position and traffic at different times.
4. Define pilot acceptance
Agree on task completion, intervention rate, uptime, staff satisfaction and response expectations.
5. Train and review
Train every affected shift, document escalation steps and review results with staff before scaling.
